Mr. G V Prasad is the Vice Chairman and CEO of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. Prasad is widely credited as the architect of Dr Reddy’s successful global generics strategy. He envisioned new business platforms like the Custom Pharmaceutical Services business and Specialty Pharmaceuticals and is dedicated to building the innovation side of the business. He is also a champion of sustainability thinking. Prasad earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in 1982 and his Masters in Industrial Administration from Purdue University in 1983.

Mr. Satish Reddy is the Managing Director and COO at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. Satish steers Dr Reddy’s Pharmaceutical Services and Active Ingredients (PSAI) and Global Generics businesses, two of the company’s core revenue generating stream. Satish graduated in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, India, in 1988 and went on to receive an MS in Medicinal Chemistry from Purdue University, USA in 1990.

Mr. Umang Vohra is the CFO at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. He has previously been associated with PepsiCo India and Eicher Ltd as the financial manager. Umang has an engineering degree in Computer Science from MSRIT Bangalore and an MBA from TA Pai Management Institute.

Dr. John Bondo Hansen is the owner of Konticon, a Denmark based consulting company. He was previously Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Novo Nordisk A/S. John received his MSc in Biochemistry and PhD (1982) in Bioorganic Chemistry from the University of Copenhagen.

Mr. Julius (Jay) Knowles has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with Distinction from Carleton College, a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of California Berkeley, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. After his MBA, Jay joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals where he spent nearly 6 years, including as Director of R&D Planning. Subsequently he headed business development for several US biotechs (including SGX Pharmaceuticals, now acquired by Lilly; Novacea – now Transcept). He was also the President of Novalar Pharmaceuticals, where he led the development of a first-in-class local anaesthesia release agent (OraVerse, subsequently launched) before moving to work with Novartis Pharmaceuticals as Director of Strategic Alliances. In his most recent role at Novartis, Jay was Head of Strategic Alliances for Platform Technologies.
